On Wednesday, Titusville, Florida Police released the 911 call first received by a dispatcher regarding the shooting of a 30-year-old nursing assistant in the Parrish Medical Center parking lot.
Once the dispatcher was given the information she needed to send police, she transferred the call to Brevard County Fire Rescue.
On Monday, shots rang out just after 7 a.m. in the parking lot of the Titusville medical center. Yolanda Garvin-Williams, 30, was shot and killed as she arrived to work.
Police said the shooter is her estranged husband 38-year-old Jeremiah Williams. Court records show Garvin-Williams had tried to get an injunction for protection against her husband just last month. She states on the injunction: “He told me if I filed for an injunction, that I will never live to make it to court.
Just hours after the shooting, police arrested Jeremiah in Marion County. He has been charged with first degree murder and is being held at the county jail with no bond.
