911 call released in Indiana carjacking

carjacking_inThe 911 tapes have been released of a carjacking incident that started in Columbus, Ohio and ended in the Wabash Valley.Officials said the suspect approached the victim with a gun around 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17th in Columbus, Ohio at a Wendy’s restaurant, demanding she drive him to Chicago.

Police said the car started to overheat in the west bound lanes of Interstate 70 in Vigo County. The suspect told the victim to get off the interstate.  The suspect fled on foot and the woman ran to a nearby home for help.
