911 Tapes Of Deadly House Fire

CBS3 in Springfield, Mass., featured a story with 9-1-1 tapes from a house fire that claimed the lives of two brothers, aged 17 and four.
The Springfield Fire Department received a frantic phone call from Melissa Bell Wood, the victims’ mother, after flames ignited in the basement of her Bay Street home and quickly spread.
In all, there were eleven people inside, nine of them children. Two didn’t make it out alive. Seventeen year old Marshall Wood and four year old Malik Bell. Two other children were taken to a Boston hospital treated for burns, despite the fire departments quick response.
