911 Call Guides Police to Hidden Wreck

kc_crashA 911 call in Kansas City, Missouri had police searching by ground and sky to find a crashed car.

It happened off 169 Highway in the Northland near Englewood.

The woman who made the 911 call stayed on the line with dispatchers and helped them find the car. It still took an hour and 15 minutes.

Cell phone pings helped get dispatchers close to the scene and then an officer heard a man yelling near the highway. He had crawled out of the wreckage to the side of the highway.

The officer found the man standing on the side of the highway and pointed out the truck that was covered by brush.

An officer carried a woman from the crash. Neither the man nor the woman was seriously hurt.
