Prosecutors play Denise Lee’s 911 call
9-1-1 in the News, Calls | Greg | August 25, 2009 at 3:03 pm
When she first dialed 911, Denise Lee was screaming and crying hysterically, at times her voice reaching such a high pitch that the words are inaudible.
Hello?” says the dispatcher answering the phone, several times.
“I’m sorry. Please let me go,” Lee screamed.
As the tape was played in court Tuesday, Lee’s father Rick Goff sat hunched over, gritting his teeth, looking straight ahead and sobbing quietly.
“Hello, Ma’am?” the dispatcher said.
As Denise Lee yelled, a male voice could be heard, asking her questions. At the same time she spoke to him, she was trying to answer the dispatcher’s questions.
