New Haven 911 Calls on PowerPhone

PowerPhone worked diligently with the City of New Haven, Connecticut to evaluate their emergency communications center. During the four month public safety consulting project, the PowerPhone team examined all aspects of the City’s 9-1-1 center operations, including an in-depth review and update to the center’s standard operating procedures. One of PowerPhone’s primary recommendations was the centralizing of the center’s command under a new Department of Public Safety Communications and the cross-training of its existing workforce in a unified call-taking approach.
