Man calls 911 after buffalo head pins him in recliner

A man in the Florida Keys summoned 911 early Sunday after he was struck by a water buffalo while sleeping in a reclining chair, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
To be more precise, Jeff Harris, of Islamorada, was struck by the head of a mounted water buffalo that tumbled from a wall on top of him.
The newspaper says he called Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies because he could not lift the heavy head, but was able to reach his cellphone.
NBC Miami quotes Harris as saying he’s “pretty banged up” and bandaged, but will be fine.
Harris says the water buffalo had been killed by a friend 10 years ago in Africa, NBC Miami reports.
